Hair loss treatment in Seoul, explained
Hair loss has several causes, and the right treatment depends on which one you have. This site explains the main types, how a Seoul dermatology clinic diagnoses them, what medicines and in-clinic treatments can do according to published evidence, and how to plan treatment if you are visiting from abroad.

Is hair loss in Korea different?
Pattern hair loss is less common in Korea than in white populations, but it still affects many people as they age. In a survey of 10,132 Koreans, it affected 14.1% of men and 5.6% of women, and almost half of men over 70. Korean men also kept their front hairline more often than white men and more often thinned on top[1]. Asian dermatologists use a classification, BASP, that was designed for these patterns[2].
For a visitor, the practical point is time. An initial assessment and blood tests can often fit into a short stay, and a prescription can follow when the diagnosis is clear; some results and decisions take longer, and treatment continues at home with photo follow-up.
